Jesus Blesses the Children

In this chapter you learned that Jesus teaches that we are all children of God and you saw a picture of Jesus with children. Read what Mark wrote in his Gospel about Jesus and children.

The people wanted Jesus to bless the children. But the disciples of Jesus tried to keep the children away. Jesus became upset at what the disciples were doing. He said, “Let the children come to me. Do not stop them. If you want to enter God’s kingdom, become like a child.” Then Jesus took the children in his arms and blessed them.
