Jesus, the Good Shepherd
God is described as a good shepherd in some of the stories found in the Bible. Jesus also described himself as a good shepherd. A good shepherd cares for and loves his sheep. A good shepherd does not leave any sheep in his flock behind. Jesus is the good shepherd and we belong to his flock.
