| Jesus
loved to tell stories. One of his favorite stories is the story
of the mustard seed (see Matthew 13:31 and 17:20). In this story
Jesus tells us about the power of faith. The mustard seed is one
of the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into a very large tree.
Jesus is telling us that our faith is like a tiny mustard seed
that grows and grows and becomes a giant tree. Our actions of love
for God and for others are actions of faith. They are like tiny
mustard seeds. They will grow into a mighty tree.
Mustard Seed Actions That Make Faith Grow
Look over all of these mustard seed actions of faith and choose
the ones you will do during Catholic Schools Week. Now drag whatever
actions you have selected to the area where the mustard seed is planted.
You will see the mustard seed come to life. You will see the tiny
mustard seed grow into a giant tree.
