Ordinary Time Part Two
Part two of Ordinary Time occurs between the end of the Easter Season and the beginning of the new liturgical year. Again, this is not tedious time. The second part of Ordinary Time celebrates the presence of Jesus’ Spirit throughout the Church as she looks forward to the fulfillment of the Kingdom that is to come. We need to open our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to help us grow in grace. With the end of the liturgical year in sight, we also become more aware of Christ’s Second Coming that will complete the transformation of the whole world and trumpet the fullness of the new creation.
