Why doesn't the page I want open? Usually, the issue here is web site traffic. By that, we mean that the sheer number of people using the site makes the site function slower. Our advice in this situation is to wait half an hour and try again. If you're still experiencing a problem, please write down the error that you're receiving and email or call RCL Customer Service. Can I reprint or use materials from your site? Many of our features , worksheets and downloads are designed to be printed and used in the home or classroom. As a general rule, we ask that if you're going to reprint any of our articles within the context of another publication or for widespread distribution that you contact us first through cservice@rcl-enterprises.com so that we may instruct you on the proper copyright citation. Other areas of our web site such as the interactive stories, saints and scripture story features are updated weekly. Our other features are updated biweekly and monthly. Why can't I send/receive my child's chapter review score? We occasionally have customers that experience problems with their email not sending or being received. The problem is usually with their ISP, a firewall, or that their email server is recognizing the message coming from our server as “spam” and is removing it from their inbox before the recipient even sees it. This is usually an issue for your Internet Service Provider or in the case of a parish or school, your institutions Technical Services department. Do you offer answer keys for the Chapter Reviews? Yes, we make the answers to the Chapter Reviews somewhat difficult to find so that students won't stumble across them and misuse them. Along with the answers, you'll also find downloadable, printable versions of the Reviews that can be used as tests or quizzes in the classroom. Both are located at the following page in our Catechists and Teachers section, sorted by grade and chapter. http://faithfirst.com/html/catechist/chapReview/chapReview.html How far in advance do you post Gospel Reflections and/or Lectionary? For each of these, we post the materials four weeks in advance while leaving the previous two weeks available for downloading. Do you archive? No, most areas of the site are updated weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The exceptions to this are the Gospel Reflections, the Lectionary, and some materials in the Online Lesson Planning Tool. For the Lectionary and Gospel Reflections, we post the materials four weeks in advance while leaving the previous two weeks available for downloading. Where do I find additional activities such as activities for Lent, Advent, etc... At the applicable times of the year, special features such as Lent, Advent and Catholic Schools Week will be highlighted on the main page of www.FaithFirst.com. Simply follow the link when it's posted. As a general practice, we post special features a week or more in advance of the season or event. Can I link to your web site from mine? We ask that you send us a link to your web site so that our Internet Producer may review your site for content and compatibility with the mission of RCL Enterprises, Inc. and FaithFirst.com. Once, he's done so, he'll contact you with his decision. Will you link to my web site? No. We do not link to web sites other than the Vatican and USCCB. Why didn't my question get posted to the RCL Expert? Sometimes, posts don't make it through to us depending on your computer's settings or your institution's software which regulates the sending of information over the Internet. Other times, our web site moderator will choose not to post a question because the topic was inappropriate for our forums for several different reasons. Posts which are clearly offensive, pornographic, aggressive or rude in nature will not be tolerated. Posts which appear to be from students seeking easy answers to tests or homework will not be posted. Posts which focus on personal issues or problems will not be posted. Our forums are mainly for questions and issues pertaining to our Catholic faith and the teaching of that faith using the Faith First series. I click on a link for a game and nothing happens, why? Some of the links on our site open in pop-up windows. If you have 'pop-up blocker' software installed on your computer, or as an extension in your web browser, you may have to manually turn it off for these sections of the site to work properly. Most 'pop-up blocker' software can recognize when a pop-up window is not an advertisement, and will open the window, but sometimes the software blocks windows from opening that are not advertisements.
