Evening Prayer

Leader: Let us fold our hands and bow our heads as we turn to God in prayer.

All: In the name of the Father…

Leader: The response this evening is, “We trust in God.”

All: We trust in God.

Leader: Under God’s wings, you are safe.

All: We trust in God.

Leader: God tells the angels to watch over you.

All: We trust in God.

Leader: Cling to God, who is your shelter.

All: We trust in God.

Leader: Under God’s wings, you are safe.

All: We trust in God.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

Leader: Loving God, this day is done. Thank you for all you gave us today. Keep us as the apple of your eye. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

All: Amen.

Leader: (Everyone extend arms in blessing over one another.)
May God bless us and watch over us through the night.

All: Amen.
