This year the Lenten season continues and then the Church celebrates Holy Week. Even Below are some activities that you can use to celebrate these important times of the Liturgical Year with the children.

1. Observe the changes of spring. Talk about how they remind you of Jesus’ resurrection. In colder northern climates, you can plant bulbs or seeds and watch them grow.

2. Keep a Lenten journal. Focus on how Jesus’ love and teachings affect your thoughts, feelings, and actions.

3. Talk about and share your favorite stories about Jesus. You might even like to make a class illustrated Bible.

4. Read the Lord’s Passion from the Children’s Lectionary.

5. Pray to God to strengthen your faith.
