Chapter 1: The Baptism of Jesus
Based on Matthew 3:13-17

One day, Jesus came to the Jordan River. Seeing John the Baptist in the water, Jesus said to him, "Baptize me as you are baptizing the other people."

John said to Jesus, "You do not need to be baptized."

Jesus answered, "For now, do as I ask you."

Jesus walked down into the water, and John baptized him. When Jesus came up out of the water, he saw the Spirit of God like a dove come down upon him. Jesus also heard a voice saying, "You are my Son. I love you."
