Communion Rite
Lord's Prayer (.wav)
We stand and the priest leads us in praying the prayer over the gifts.
| People: | Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. |
| Priest: | Deliver us, Lord, from every evil... |
| People: | For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours, now and for ever. |
Sign of Peace (.wav)
| Priest: | The peace of the Lord be with you always. |
| People: | And also with you. |
| Priest or deacon: | Let us offer each other the sign of peace. |
Breaking of the Bread
The priest breaks the consecrated bread so it can be shared with others. Joining with him, we sing or say:
| All: |
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: have mercy on us. Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world: grant us peace. |

Communion (.wav) The priest raises the consecrated bread, or host,
and proclaims that this is the Lamb of God. We respond together by praying
a prayer from the Gospel. |
